Confirmation Of My Calling Comes As Promised

It is Monday January 23, 2017.  My wife and I load the truck with suitcases and everything we will need for our week long stay at our country home.  In addition, we also load a computer desk that we are donating to our country pastor and his wife and we depart for the 150-mile trip.  This afternoon, we deliver the computer desk to our pastor’s home and we invite the pastor and his wife to come to our home for dinner the following evening.  On Tuesday evening we all enjoy a wonderful meal prepared by my wife, Dottie.  After dinner we sit around the table talking.  I nervously share with the pastor and his wife that I believe GOD is calling me to be a prophet.  As soon as I share this information, the pastor immediately looks at his wife and with a big smile exclaims “didn’t I tell you so.”  Dottie and I are bewildered and when I inquire of the pastor what that means, he tells me that after we had delivered the desk on the previous evening he told his wife,  “I believe that brother has the call of a prophet on his life.”  This word was the fulfillment of the confirmation that GOD  promised me He would provide if we would forego the cruise and go to our country home instead.  YAHWEH is faithful to His Word - Halleluyah!

An Anxious Drive To Church

Its is Sunday morning January 22 and my wife and I drive anxiously to our church in Allen, Texas not knowing what kind of reception will be awaiting us.  In my mind I am thinking that perhaps the men from  last Wednesday's Bible study will meet us at the door and not allow us to enter the building.  However, nothing like this occurs.  The pastor and all of the people are very friendly and cordial as usual.  It was an awesome worship service and GOD moved in a very powerful way today.  After the service had ends, I request a short private meeting with the pastor and the minister of worship.  I confide in them that I believe that GOD is calling me to be a prophet to the body of Christ and that my wife and I plan to travel to our country home on Monday the next day to receive further confirmation of His calling.

Coming Out Of The Closet

It is Wednesday January 18, 2017 and I am attending a "Band of Brothers" men’s Bible study meeting in Allen, Texas. Everyone wants to know why my wife and I have decided to cancel our upcoming cruise. The moderator allows me to speak to the entire group of approximately thirteen men, which included the pastor of our church in Allen, Texas. I first tell the men that what I am about to share with them will more than likely cause a spirit of anger to rise up in their heart.  I tell them that as a result of the anger they will more tan likely want to "get in my face" and debate me over what I am about to share.  I tell them that I am here to simply share with them what GOD has been doing in my life and that I will not debate them over these things.  I then proceed to share with the group how GOD has been dealing with me over the past several weeks with a very powerful and special anointing through His Holy Spirit.  I share with them that my wife and I have come to realize since October of 2016 that we were unknowingly breaking several of GOD’S Ten Commandments and that we have begun to repent and to correct those things in our life.  I tell them that my wife and I have started keeping the seventh-day Sabbath holy and set apart to GOD.  As I share this, one brother interrupts me to tell me emphatically that the law is a curse to us and that it has been done away with in Christ. The pastor points his finger at me and calls me a heretic and states to me that I am speaking heresy.  I caution the pastor not to call GOD’S Torah heresy.  However, he proceeds to continue his ridicule of GOD'S Torah and me to some of the men sitting nearby him.  He further states that he will be going street preaching the following week, but that he was not going to tell people that they needed to be circumcised.  I repeatedly tell the men that I am not keeping the commandments of GOD in order to be saved, but rather I am keeping the commandments because I am saved and because I want to please GOD with my obedience to His Word.  I further tell them that I do not consider them to be my enemy because they disagree with what I am sharing with them and I t all of them that I love them.  I tell them that I hope that they do not consider me to be their enemy.  At no time in the meeting do I reveal to any of the men that GOD is calling me to be a prophet.  After the Bible study concludes and the meeting ends, I hug all of the men and reaffirm my love for them.

A Powerful Calling And A Promise Of Confirmation

Over the next week GOD continues to impress on me through powerful revelations from His Word and from His Holy Spirit that He is calling me to be a prophet to the body of Christ and that my ministry will specifically be to His pastors and under-shepherds. My wife and I are scheduled to go on our first ever cruise for one-week departing Galveston, Texas on Sunday January 22, 2017.  On Monday, January 16 we drive up to our country home in Northeast Texas to retrieve some items that we will need for the cruise.  That evening we take our country pastor and his wife out for dinner.  However, I do not disclose to this pastor or his wife any information about our new Christian lifestyle or the revelations that I have been receiving from YAHWEH regarding my calling as a prophet. After dinner ends, we embark on our 150-mile return trip to our home in Grapevine, Texas and late at night as I am praying and driving, while Dottie is fast asleep, GOD specifically reveals to me that He does not want me to go on the cruise the following week that we have already paid for and booked.  He reveals to me that instead he wants us to return to our country home the following week so that He can give me further confirmation that He is calling me to be a prophet.
