Deuteronomy, 29:9-30:20; 31:1-31:30 The portion, Nitzavim (Standing), deals with Moses' speech regarding the covenant between Israel and the Creator. Moses makes it clear that the Torah applies to the whole of the people of Israel, to every single one, and was given to posterity.
